Are you interested in exploring New Monasticism?
Monasticism is bubbling up in many different ways today, for example the Archbishop of Canterbury has founded a new community, the Community of St Anselm, for young people to spend ‘a year in God’s time’ at Lambeth Palace.
Other examples include the Northumbrian Community which is exploring living as a dispersed community, bound together by a Rule which ‘takes people to listen to the heartbeat of God’ and Monasteries of the Heart, an online movement ‘sharing Benedictine spirituality with contemporary seekers’.
