Diocesan Chrism Eucharist

In a service led by the Bishop of Gloucester, the Rt Revd Rachel Treweek ministers and congregations gather from across the Diocese to renew their various commitments to God. They will all renew their baptismal vows and the lay ministers and clergy renew their ministerial promises. The special oils used at the Church’s ceremonies throughout the year are also consecrated.
