Learn Amigurumi - Advanced Crochet Course

Thursday 20 & 27 March, 3 & 10 April, 5.30pm - 8pm

Join us in the magnificent medieval surroundings of Gloucester Cathedrals Learning Hub for a fun and social four week introduction to the art of Amigurumi.

All participants will need to have a basic knowledge of crochet, including keeping tension. Participants bringing their own equipment will need a darning needle and scissors.

This four week course will cover:
- The basics of Amigurumi crochet
- An amigurumi animal

Amigurumi animals will be decided through the interests and skill level of the group but could include an easter egg bunny, an owl, an octopus or a toadstool.

Participants will receive:

Standard:
- Free tea and coffee
- Yarn to use during the sessions and to keep after so you can practice your skills

Social:
- Free tea and coffee
- The company of everyone else

A glass of Prosecco can be booked separately - this is one glass per week for all four weeks.

Ticket holders have access to the whole course and are encouraged to come to all sessions. These run 5.30pm - 8pm on Thursday 20 March, 27 March, 3 April, and 10 April.

    We are sorry that due to limited space, parking in the Cathedral Close is restricted to pass holders only.

    There are eight disabled parking spaces which are for use by Blue Badge holders on a first come first served basis.

    However, there are several public car parks within easy walking distance of the Cathedral.

  • Arriving by Public Transport

    The Cathedral is located in Gloucester Town Centre, so the best way to get here is by public transport.

    We are a 10-15 minute walk from both the train and bus stations. You can also use Gloucester’s Park and Ride.
