Sunday 22 December, 6pm & Monday 23 December, 6pm

‘Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.’ — Luke 2:14

All are warmly welcome to join us for our Cathedral Carol Services; this year these services will take place on Sunday 22 December and Monday 23 December at 6pm. Expect traditional readings and carols, with music from our Cathedral Choirs.

No tickets are required for these services, but seating will be allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis so we recommend arriving in good time.

The service on 23 December at 6pm will also be live-streamed to our Facebook and YouTube channel. Please click on the button below to go to our channel - the live-stream will start a few minutes before the service is due to begin.

  • Parking

We are sorry that due to limited space, parking in the Cathedral Close is restricted to pass holders only.

There are eight disabled parking spaces which are for use by Blue Badge holders on a first come first served basis.

However, there are several public car parks within easy walking distance of the Cathedral.

To find out more please download our parking guide or click here for up-to-date information.

  • Arriving by Public Transport

The Cathedral is located in Gloucester Town Centre, so the best way to get here is by public transport.

We are a 10-15 minute walk from both the train and bus stations. You can also use Gloucester’s Park and Ride.

  • Cycling
