Join us for this historic performance of Holst's Planets Suite on the 150th anniversary of the Cheltenham born composer. Performed by the Cheltenham Symphony orchestra conducted by Gloucester Cathedral’s Director of Music, Adrian Partington, this concert will take place against the stunning backdrop of the Cathedral Nave under artist Luke Jerram’s immersive installation Mars: War & Peace.
The concert provides a unique, and dramatic, launch to this exhibition before it opens to the public.
It will be a privilege to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Cheltenham born composer Gustav Holst in our sacred space. It is an experience not to be missed. Proceeds from the concert are being dedicated to Gloucester Cathedral’s In Tune Organ & Music campaign.
Ticket Prices:
Standard Tickets: £20, £30, or £40
VIP Tickets: £60 (VIP tickets are seats located in one of the first three rows of the Nave and include a fizz and canape reception at the Deanery)
